ALL Ayrshire businesses should be online – and this Irvine man is helping them to do it. Gordon Bain launched his own web design company last month.
The hard-working 32-year-old has been working in the computer business for over a decade. Ten years ago Gordon was working for a Kilwinning based computer manufacturing company when he decided it was time to follow his passion. He returned to full-time education to re-train as a software developer and when he graduated he was offered a position with a company in East Kilbride.
Since then the dedicated dad of two has been working on some of the leading e-commerce websites in the UK. And Gordon has now decided to take the exciting step of launching his own company, Nexus Web Design.
The company was only launched two weeks ago and Gordon has already has two considerable clients; the Ayrshire Liberal Democrats political party and a company called Silver Star Federation who control online games.. Gordon is a one man band for now working from home on his computer. He is very excited about what the future may hold and his family are behind him 100 percent.
He said: “I’m just getting started but I’m working really hard to make it a success. It’s a hard time for businesses right now and the internet is one of the best and most affordable ways for them to expand their client bases. I can hopefully help them reach these people.”.
